Graphic artist. Co-owner and creative partner at Cloud Shadow Studio & Art Gallery, in Wakonda, SD,
I work independently and collaboratively (with my artist partner, Anthony DiMichele) in various genres, including printmaking, photography and digital art. Together, we do gallery shows at the studio, and give educational presentations (typically at Yankton Area Arts) about art and art history.
I am the graphics designer and business manager of the studio. I enjoy providing technical support to artists, in the areas of graphic and web design. My current projects include designing several websites, including ones for Cloud Shadow Studio & and Art Gallery and for artist, Anthony DiMichele. This fall & winter I will be taking on art & design projects with our new laser printer!
I am recently retired from a 30-year career in the public service sector, where I provided technical support for the Public Works Department, of a mid-sized county in Washington state. My specialty was in Geographic Information Systems, which I particularly enjoyed because it employed both technical and creative skillsets.
I am enjoying being back in South Dakota - my home state - doing the things I love best - art, gardening, family, motorcycling and cats!
